This early spring harvest yields all the health benefits of matcha plus a delightfully smooth character.  This matcha is harvested and produced from early spring buds and tender young tea leaves. Two Hill's matcha tea plants are grown in partial sunlight (i.e. they are covered with a canopy) a few weeks each spring, boosting the amount of clorophyl in the leaves; hence the very high concentration of antioxidants. 

After harvest, the tea is meticulously ground into very fine particles and shipped to Two Hills, where it is kept in a temperature controlled room.  It is perfect for making matcha lattes, frappes, ice cream and smoothies.

Directions

This matcha is a great option to brighten smoothies, lattes, energy elixirs or your favourite baked goods. Add 1g per cup (i.e. a single shot) if you want a smooth power boost in your drink; add up to 3g if you need bolder flavour and stronger energy.
