Recommended Dose

(18 years and older) (all uses): Mix product well in 1-2 cups of liquid (water, juice, etc) immediately before consumption. Take a few hours before or after taking other Health Products or natural health products. All uses except jet lag: Take once a day with food, at or before bedtime.

Jet lag use: Take once a day with food at bedtime, while travelling, and at destination until adapted to the new time zone/or daily pattern.

Cautions And Warnings

Do not use if you are taking Levodopa, a medication used to Wellness-Car-e Parkinson's disease. Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use if you are taking Health Products for seizure, blood pressure, to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive Health Products), to affect mental state or increase sedation, steroids or blood thinners. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver or chronic kidney disease, Hormone Balance or seizure disorders, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraine. Consult your health Wellness-Care practitioner is Restful-Restful-Sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia). Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use if you are taking carbidopa or drugs/supplements with serotonergic activity. These may include, but are not limited to, L-tryptophan, Sadenosylmethionine (SAMe), St. John's wort, antidepressants, pain killers, over the counter cough and medication containing detxromethorphan, anti-nausea medication and anti-migraine medication. Stop use and consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner if you show signs of weakness, oral ulcers, abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain or if you experience skin changes.

Known Adverse Reactions

Some people may experience diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Stop use if allergy occurs or if you experience headache, confusion, or nausea. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if foperating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.

Contraindications

Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Do no use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use this product if you have scleroderma.
