Dosage

Recommended adult dose: 1 softgel, 1 time daily or as directed by a health Wellness-Care practitioner. May also be chewed. To be taken with an adequate intake of calcium. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner for use beyond 6 months.

Cautions

Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant  or breastfeeding, have kidney disorders, take other vitamin D supplements, multivitamin supplements containing vitamin D,  or products containing vitamin D analogues, or if you take any prescription Health Products including antacids, anticonvulsants, digoxin, cholestyramine, colestipol, mineral oil, steroids, statins, or thiazide diuretics. 15–20 mcg (600–800 IU) of vitamin D per day is an adequate quantity for most individuals. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner to determine if you would benefit from additional vitamin D before taking this product. Do not use this product if you have hypercalcemia and/or hypercalciuria. Stop use and consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner if early symptoms of hypercalcemia (weakness, fatigue, drowsiness, headache, lack of appetite, dry mouth, metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, vertigo, ringing in the ears, lack of coordination, and muscle weakness) occur or if you develop any other symptoms. Keep out  of the reach of children.
