Each level teaspoon (tsp) contains:

Organic psyllium husk (Plantago ovata)
1.2g

Suggested Use

Adults and Adolescents 13 years plus

Take 4 tsp. 2-3 times daily. To prepare, stir 4 level tsp (4.8 g) into at least 250 ml (1 glass) water, juice or milk, stir briskly and drink immediately.

Children 6-12 years

Take 2 tsp. 2-3 times daily. To prepare, stir 2 level tsp (2.4 g) into at least 125ml (1/2 glass) water, juice or milk, stir briskly and drink immediately.

All age groups

Maintain adequate fluid intake. Take 2 hours before or after taking other Health Products. Effects observed 12-24 hours after first dose, and may take 2-3 days. Do not swallow in dry form.

Cautions

Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner if symptoms worsen or if laxative effect does not occur within seven days. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner immediately if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use if you are taking Health Products which inhibit peristaltic movement. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing or if you have diabetes mellitus in which blood sugar is difficult to regulate, or if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defecate following the use of another laxative product. Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur following inhaled and/or ingested psyllium; in which case, discontinue use. May cause temporary gas and/or bloating.
