Organic family EDEN Garbanzo Beans or chickpeas Cicer arietinum are soaked overnight and pressure cooked at Eden's certified organic and kosher cannery with purified water and no chemical additives. The plump, round, golden beans are ideal on salads, and they are the world’s most popular bean. With EDEN Sesame Tahini, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, garlic, and lemon, they make the classic hummus spread or dip. Falafels and curry dishes are common uses, as are soups, stews, casseroles, grain burgers, and croquettes. Since EDEN beans contain no chemical additives, the garbanzo bean cooking water in the can is known as Aquafaba, a remarkable egg replacer for desserts, meringues, marshmallows, and many recipes. No salt added. EDEN beans come in BPA, BPS, and phthalate free cans since 1999.
