Ingredients

Organic Whole Grain, Buckwheat Flour, Organic Whole Wheat Flour, Vital Wheat Gluten, Cane Sugar, Baking Powder (Monocalcium Phosphate, Cornstarch, Sodium Bicarbonate), Salt.

Suggested Use

This pancake recipe is simple: just add egg, water and oil. Portion 1/4 cup of batter per pancake. To use the batter for waffles, follow the instructions for your waffle iron.

Pancakes

1 cup Bob's Red Mill" Buckwheat Pancake and Waffle Mix
1 Tbsp Oil
1 Egg
34 cup Water

Heat a lightly greased griddle or pan over medium-high heat. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until just combined and then pour 4-cup portions onto the hot griddle or pan. Cook until bubbly, then flip and cook until the center is set, about 2-3 minutes per side. Serve immediately. Makes about 8 pancakes.

Waffles

1 cup Bob's Red Mill Buckwheat Pancake and Waffle Mix
2 Tbsp Oil
1 Egg
1 cup Water

Preheat the waffle iron to medium heat for at least 10 minutes. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until just combined. Follow the waffle iron manufacturer's instructions for measuring and cooking waffles. Makes 2 waffles.
