Cold-pressed Evening Primrose Oil includes a minimum of 10% gamma-linoleic acid (GLA), acknowledged for its benefits to women's health.

The present interest in EPO stems from its fatty acid profile, with a typical composition of approximately 70% linoleic acid (LA) and 10% gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).

Linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid present in nuts, seeds, and various vegetable oils (including EPO), needs conversion within the body. Unfortunately, numerous factors can disrupt this process, including saturated fats, hydrogenated oils, blood-glucose issues, and insufficient dietary intake of vitamin C, magnesium, zinc, and B vitamins. In contrast, gamma-linoleic acid does not demand this conversion, making it a favorable source for the body's prostaglandin production.

Directions

Adults: As source of omega-6s / linoleic acid: Take 3 softgels daily or as directed by your health-wellness-care practitioner.

For all other uses: Take 3 softgels one to four times daily or as directed by your health-wellness-care practitioner.

Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
