Nature's Way Kids Sambucus Cold and Flu Wellness-Car-e Syrup is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to Assist relieve symptoms of colds and flus. The delicious tasting syrup is formulated for kids with each teaspoon containing 25 mg of Black Elder, 1.5 mg of Propolis and 0.104 ml of Echinacea Complex extract. The Standardized Elderberry also provides antioxidants to Assist maintain good health. Bonus? It’s a taste your kids will love and the syrup is vegetarian and kosher.

Medicinal Ingredients

Echinacea extract containing: Echinacea angustifolia (dry root) 19.5 mg QCE, Echinacea angustifolia (fresh root) 14.1 mg QCE, Echinacea purpurea (fresh flower) 6.3 mg QCE

Propolis (Apis mellifera-secretion)

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

D-fructose, purified water, glycerine, DL-malic acid, raspberry flavour, maltodextrin.

Directions

Children 2-4 years old take 1 teaspoon (5 ml) once daily.

Children 5-9 years old take 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 ml) once daily.

Adolescents 10-13 years old take 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 ml) 1 to 2 times daily.

Adolescents 14-17 years old take 1-3 teaspoons (5-15 ml) 1 to 3 times daily. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner for use beyond 1 month., Shake well before each use.

Warning

If you are taking immunosuppressants or have an autoimmune disorder, consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use. If you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection or if you are allergic to bee products, poplar tree products, or balsam of Peru, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner.

Known adverse reactions

Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case discontinue use immediately. Rare cases of severe allergic reactions have been known to occur; use caution if you are allergic to plants of the Daisy family. Discontinue use in case of gastrointestinal upsets, such as abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Diuretic effect may occur.
