Ingredients

Coriander, Paprika, Garam Masala (Coriander, Cinnamon, Cumin, Ginger, Cloves, Cardamom, Black Pepper), Chili, Turmeric, Black Pepper, salt, Dry Garlic, Ginger.

Preparation

1. Cube chicken (500 grams) into bite sized pieces.

2. Slice onions (1 and 1/2 medium) as thin as you can.

3. Cut the bell pepper (1 regular sized) and the leftover onion (1/2 medium) into 1/2 inch chunks.
Cooking the dish

1. Heat oil (4 tbsp) in a pan over high heat and fry the sliced onions (1 and 1/2 medium) until it starts to become slightly brown. It will take 3 0 5 minutes.

2. Add the cubed chicken (500grams) and sear the sides. About 2 minutes.

3. Add SPICE PACK 1 and stir for 1 minute.

4. Now add SPICE PACK 2, ketchup (2 tbsp) and cook covered for 10 minutes over medium heat until the chicken is completely cooked. You can add a little water if needed.
Note: Ketchup gives this the dish the distinct red color. You can also use tomato paste instead (comes in a tube or can). Food coloring is typically used but it doesn't improve the flavour.

5. Add the bell pepper (1 regular) and onion chunks (1/2 medium) and cook for 2 minutes.

6. Adjust the Heat Level to your liking by adding the hot chili pack. Be Careful, this spice is HOT!!!
