Herstat should be applied directly to the affected area of skin. The ointment can Assist to retain moisture, soften your cold sore, and may Assist relieve the unpleasant symptoms associated with dry and cracked skin and lips. Herstat ointment works best when applied regularly: apply directly to the affected area every 2 hours, up to 5 times per day.

Propolis is a natural substance produced by honeybees which is used to keep their hives sterile. It has a rich history of use which extends back to ancient times. Herstat creates our own high-quality, cosmetic-grade propolis in our refinery in Winnipeg, Canada. It has a pleasant smell and taste and means we don't have to use artificial fragrance. The propolis works alongside the other ingredients to Assist soften and moisturize your lips to aid the healing process. It acts as a preservative in the Herstat ointment which means we don't have to add parabens or sulphates.

Relief of Cold Sore Symptoms - Herstat can be used at any stage of a cold sore outbreak and may Assist to provide relief from the symptoms of cold sores such as dry, chapped lips and sore, cracked skin. The ointment is a moisturizing skin protectant that can provide an ideal environment for healing.

Gentle on your skin - Herstat is gentle on your skin. We use carefully balanced ingredients to create a conducive environment for healing. Herstat uses a high content of petrolatum which Assists to keep the area moisturized and creates a barrier around the cold sore, while not feeling sticky.

Mineral Oil, 3% Propolis ACF, Ethanol, Lanolin.

Directions

Apply directly to the affected area every 2 hours, up to 5 times per day.

Close cap tightly and store below 25°C.

Warnings

When using this product: Test on a small area of your forearm before use. Discontinue use if a rash appears. Do not use in or around the eyes.

Do not use if allergic to bee by-products. Propolis may cause skin irritation. Stop use and consult a doctor if your condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use.
