Beige to light green, with a slight taste of hazelnut, our hemp flour is stone ground from hemp press-cake. Less fat than other hemp flours made from the seed itself, it is a mineral concentrate!

What is hemp?

Hemp is a cultivated plant from the Cannabaceae family. It has accompanied men since the Neolithic era. It has many applications in different fields like textile, construction, ropes, paper and oil extraction.

Nutrition and health

Made from press-cake, our hemp flour is low in fat, while keeping an excellent Omega-3 and Omega-6 content. Rich in dietary fiber and protein, it is an exceptional source of minerals. It also contains the eight amino acids essential to human life.

Origin

Hemp is thought to be one of the first plants domesticated by men. Originating from Asia, it conquers the world rapidly thanks to the robustness of its fibers, used in the textile industry until the 19th century, when cotton followed by synthetic fibers, start taking over.
