This creamy, mildly sweet, versatile bean is a Mexican staple, and a favorite in the Americas and Caribbean. Superb with whole grain, in soups, stews, salads, dips, and spreads. They are interchangeable with pinto beans in Mexican dishes such as salsa, burritos, tostadas, quesadillas, tacos, and refried beans. Selected by Men’s Health magazine as a “Best Food for Men.” Antioxidant pigments, carotenoids, give them their deep color. Most canned beans are loaded with sodium. EDEN Black Beans are unsalted.
