All cultivars of Botanical Extract are called Geranium Rose or Botanical Extract of the Rose variety. Originally grown in South Africa, Geranium Rose is also known as scented Botanical Extract. The shrub can grow to 1.3 meters high with a spread of 1 meter wide. The foliage of the wild variety smells more or less minty yet gives rise to cultivars that smell strongly of rose hence Geranium Rose.

Geranium Rose essential oil is used in aromatherapy to Assist relieve premenstrual tension and menopausal symptoms as well as colds and cough.

Suggested Use

Topical (Adults): Mix 1 to 5 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) of vegetable oil; apply locally 3 times a day. Inhalation (Respiratory syst.): Add 4 to 12 drops to a bowl of steaming hot water or a diffuser. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes
