Modified citrus pectin (MCP) is derived from citrus peels. While regular pectin is a good source of fiber, it cannot be absorbed by the intestines. MCP, however, is broken down into smaller fragments, allowing for easier absorption in the digestive tract. Numerous studies have shown that MCP aids in detoxifying heavy metals by binding to them in the bloodstream and increasing their urinary excretion, including lead, mercury, arsenic, and other heavy metals, without disrupting essential mineral levels. Adult Dosage

Take one scoop mixed with water or juice three times daily with food or immediately after meals (to minimize gastrointestinal irritation and prevent too rapid absorption), or as directed by a qualified health Wellness-Care practitioner.

Cautions

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Diarrhea, stomach irritation, nausea, slowed Cardio Health rate and abnormal Cardio Health rhythm may occur. Discontinue use and contact your health Wellness-Care practitioner if you develop severe stomach pain, irregular Cardio Healthbeat, chest pain, or for use beyond four weeks. Vomiting has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use and consult your health Wellness-Care practitioner.
