• Provide Gentle Relief Of Constipation

Contains herbs that are traditionally used in phytotherapy and herbalism as a bulk-forming laxative to provide gentle relief of constipation and/or irregularity.

Ingredients

Psyllium husk, Licorice root, Slippery Elm Bark, Hypromellose (vegicap), Ibiscus Sabdariffa Flower, Pyrus malus (apple) fiber.

Directions

(14 years and older) 3 capsules twice daily, in the morning and in the evening. Drink one 8-ounce (250 ml) glass of water with each dose. Maintain adequate fluid intake. Effects observed 12-24 hours after first dose ans may take 2-3 days. Take 2 hours before or after taking other Health Products.

Duration Of Use

Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner for use beyond 4-6 weeks.

Warning

Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner if symptoms persist worsen or if laxative effect does not occur within seven days. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner immediately if you experience chest pain, vomitting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use if you are taking Health Products which inhibit peristaltic movement (e.g. opioids, loperamide) or if you have a liver disorder. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomitting of fever (as these could be signs of abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, diseases of the oesophagus and/or the superior opening of the stomach (cardia), potential or existing intestinal blockage, paralysis of the intestine, megacolon, faecal impaction, inflamed bowel or appendicitis).

Contraindications

Do not use if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defecate following the use of another laxative product or if you have difficulty swallowing or if you have diabetes mellitus in which blood sugar is difficult to regulate or if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder or if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other Health Products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Do not use if you pregnant or breastfeeding.
