Acetyl-L-Cysteine, or NAC, is a free-form amino acid required by the body to make glutathione. Glutathione is part of the body’s antioxidant defence system, recognized for supporting healthy aging. Taken by itself, glutathione is poorly absorbed, but NAC facilitates our body’s own production of it. It is an especially beneficial supplement for active people, the elderly, individuals exposed to pollution, and anyone else wanting to have healthy levels of glutathione, our master antioxidant.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

Microcrystalline cellulose, vegetarian capsule (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], purified water), croscarmellose sodium, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Recommended Dose (Adults)

1 capsule 2 times daily with meals or as directed by a health Wellness-Care practitioner. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner for use beyond 6 months.

Recommended Use

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is a highly stable form of cysteine and is a precursor in the body to the critical antioxidant glutathione.

It provides antioxidant Aid and helps to reduce the severity and frequency of influenza-like symptoms in adults over 65 years of age and in those suffering from chronic degenerative diseases.

Cautions

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have kidney stones, consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use. If you are taking antibiotics and/or nitroglycerin, do not use this product. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Keep out of the reach of children.
